Deviation Actions
37 minutes of the SPACEMEN film done. At this point the SPACEMEN film needs to diverge quite markedly from the public domain film They Came From Outer Space on which it is based as the vast majority of the reviews of the original live action film said that it was the middle which killed it. What I need to do is add some different scenes, more action, and keep the flow building in speed towards the third act turnaround. Personally I really like the original film, a lot, but I can understand why the general audience then (and now, especially, what with the short attention span of the modern viewer) penalised it for being a bit too lacklustre and s l o w.
Freddie Francis, who directed They Came From Beyond Space, was a great director, albeit one who lost his edge when he lost his interest in genre masterpieces. His work for Amicus (the defunct production company who made amongst other things They Came...) declined as he grew sick and tired of the same tropes and situations. Despite this, They Came... is a thoughtful piece with nice plot points and solid professional acting.
My animated version is going for a very different tone to the original in some ways since for me it's a period piece and part of The Silver Universe (tm).

TEMPLAR! (The Saint public domain Old Time Radio)
My latest project is to update my Golden Universe and Eternium game source material into comicbook, animated series and book form. The first effort is a 36-part series called TEMPLAR, using the Old Time Radio audio from a Vincent Price vehicle called The Saint.
Some of the art from the comicbook is already up on here, and it has its own blog at

So check it out!
Last Man On Earth Animated (LMOEA)
I am doing Last Man On Earth as an animated film, for grownups. Think Blade crossed with On The Beach.
Robert Morgan is a stone cold killer of the undead, but tortured by the loss of his lover, his world... everything.
I love the original LAST MAN and I don't want to do it scene by scene, rather create a new universe for Morgan to inhabit. I have also added the tone and style of the 1950s samurai films, imitating some of the classic shots and sequences, hopefully not as a slavish ripoff like George Lucas at his worst, more trying to unite the extreme determination of the Hagakure tradition with the fatalism of the original character.

Kleeshae Caverns!
Just finished an online multiplayer adventure game called Kleeshae Caverns
http://www.hottestontv.com.au/loop
Where you go on quests, kill monsters, but also do some interaction etc.
It's based on the old LOGD 0.9.7t iteration but that was text-based, I've made mine picture/text and I can add sound, video or anything else.
:)
Anyway, it's a lot of fun to create an expanding online world, I recommend worldbuilding to anyone! ;)
